Creating something beautiful and memorable together for your wedding day in our natural, garden influenced style
We are a floral studio based in vibrant East Oxford. Our style is natural, focussing on flowers that embrace the changing seasons and we love to let the flowers and foliage speak for themselves.
Having moved out of the physical shop premises, our focus is now on our seasonal floral wraps, floral subscriptions, workshops and weddings. We no longer operate daily flower deliveries.
At this Oxford florist we’re influenced by nature, and we like to use flowers, seed heads, berries and leaves that capture the changing seasons, with an emphasis on letting the flowers and foliage speak for themselves. Itโs important to us that your bouquet and flowers should evoke the senses. Memories of walking through the garden and brushing past mint, lavender or rosemary, the scent of roses from your grandmotherโs garden or handfuls of chocolate scented Cosmos. Scent, touch and colour are all important to us here at Bicycle Blooms, east Oxford.
A gorgeous Oxford college chapel ceremony last Saturday. Many of the Oxford chapelโs are so stunning itโs hard to compete unless you go large, large, largeโฆ. For @rscarlett123 and @katharinaox4 a soft entrance to lead the guests in to their seats, with the bay tree and meadows easily portable and repurposed at the reception and the tree had one final home, kept by this lovely couple as a memory of their wedding day ๐ค

The team behind the flowers ๐ As we head towards next weekends wedding and back to back weeks of July and August weddings a shout out to my fabulous team, without whom it would not all get done ๐ @frankiewdesign and @koala_blooms who have been with me from my shop days ๐ @rootandgatherflowers who first worked for me a few years ago, and for our first wedding in 2026 @nongsmitinandflowers who is with us again next week, and letโs not forget Mr G, the silent behind the scenes support, van driver, ladder climber ๐ They know me, they know the BB style and process, I ๐ฏ trust them, and know they have my back ๐ธ I may be the the daily contact, but a wedding - from conditioning hundreds of stems of flowers, creating and designing floral arrangements, lugging buckets and crates, up and down ladders, threading hundreds of stems, wiring buttonholes, urns, churns, meadows, logistics, delivery and set up on the day itself and more, itโs always a team effort, with laughter, smiles and mugs of tea along the way. Thanking you to each of you and hereโs to a fabulous 2026 wedding season ahead ๐ธ
