We are a floral studio based in vibrant East Oxford. Our style is natural, focussing on flowers that embrace the changing seasons and we love to let the flowers and foliage speak for themselves.
Having moved out of the physical shop premises, our focus is now on our seasonal floral wraps, floral subscriptions, workshops and weddings. We no longer operate daily flower deliveries.
A little bit about us
At this Oxford florist we’re influenced by nature, and we like to use flowers, seed heads, berries and leaves that capture the changing seasons, with an emphasis on letting the flowers and foliage speak for themselves. It’s important to us that your bouquet and flowers should evoke the senses. Memories of walking through the garden and brushing past mint, lavender or rosemary, the scent of roses from your grandmother’s garden or handfuls of chocolate scented Cosmos. Scent, touch and colour are all important to us here at Bicycle Blooms, east Oxford.

Serendipity… What’s not to love when you walk in to the @flowervisionlondon fridge and spot two trolleys of British grown @emcolefarmsltd tulips. Naturally had to bring some back to Oxford 🤷♀️😆🌷🙂

Thank you… Can’t start our 2026 flowering without a big thank you to the team that help make the wheels go round alongside me here at Bicycle Blooms 🙂 From those busy dates like Mother’s and Valentine’s Day, to wreath workshops and weddings @frankiewdesign and @rootandgatherflowers kept me laughing and sane when things are busy and hectic - I really appreciate the hours of conditioning, designing and making, loading and unloading vans, workshop tidying, bucket filling and tea making 🙂 With cameo rolls from @playing_with_flowers stepping in in July, and @ellielovej0y and @oscarwt_ who came to stay in December and ended up carrying a crate or two - thank you 🎄And as always to Mr G a quite presence behind the scenes 🤍 Here’s to 2026 😉🌸🙂

Hello 2026… workshop cleaned this chilly January afternoon ready for the new years floral season 🙂 A little of what creates that mess here:
- from many trips to London to collect all the materials
- hand making all of your moss bases used for our wreath workshops and orders
- creating wreaths ready to hang on your doors
- many long days, woolly hats, coffees and hot chocolates
- not forgetting our friendly, hungry mice 🐭 feasting on the rose hips
By the end it looks messy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way, as it’s 6 weeks of fir, pine and mossing madness, full of fun filled workshops and catching up with regular customers as they collect their wreaths.
A lovely afternoon today to get the workshop cleaned up and ready for 2026, with the Wolf Super Moon 🌕 appearing over the Oxford rooftops. Wishing everyone a healthy, happy and peaceful 2026 🙂
