We are a floral studio based in vibrant East Oxford. Our style is natural, focussing on flowers that embrace the changing seasons and we love to let the flowers and foliage speak for themselves.
Having moved out of the physical shop premises, our focus is now on our seasonal floral wraps, floral subscriptions, workshops and weddings. We no longer operate daily flower deliveries.

A little bit about us

At this Oxford florist we’re influenced by nature, and we like to use flowers, seed heads, berries and leaves that capture the changing seasons, with an emphasis on letting the flowers and foliage speak for themselves. It’s important to us that your bouquet and flowers should evoke the senses. Memories of walking through the garden and brushing past mint, lavender or rosemary, the scent of roses from your grandmother’s garden or handfuls of chocolate scented Cosmos. Scent, touch and colour are all important to us here at Bicycle Blooms, east Oxford.

Meadows on the move… Re-purposing the ceremony chapel floor meadows from @oxfordbasilica to the reception in The Divinity School @bodleianlibraryweddings for Rupert and Aysha’s wedding day recently 🙂 Logistics, planning, timing, two vans and a team of four of us with the help of @velocitycyclecouriers for both drop offs. Thanks to their team, plus my two on the day freelancers @koala_blooms and @rootandgatherflowers as well as the man of mystery - don’t take my picture - Mr G 😉 It takes a team to get this all moved and in place on the day - a huge thank you to everyone involved 🙂💙🤍🙂

Raspberries and chocolate 💕 Those ‘hot chocolate’ roses got a lot of love yesterday so deserve a closer look 💕 Combined with burgundy cornflowers, the purple points of salvia ‘viridis’ complement the tubular purple flowers of cerinthe ‘purpurascens’, lime buplerum foliage combined with scented geranium stems, with homegrown raspberry stems as the finishing touch 🙂 It was fun to create this urn arrangement with the serendipity of the British grown flowers I brought back from @flowervisionlondon this week 🙂

It’s been a while… First trip back to @flowervisionlondon and couldn’t make it past the outdoor plants at the entrance 🤷‍♀️ Promise I headed on through to collect the first of the flowers for this weekends gorgeous wedding. A tray of those red poppies may have made it back to Oxford for my very neglected garden 🙂
