Seasonal bouquets and floral wraps celebrating the best from the market or from our local British growers, all in our natural garden style
We are a floral studio based in vibrant East Oxford. Our style is natural, focussing on flowers that embrace the changing seasons and we love to let the flowers and foliage speak for themselves.
Having moved out of the physical shop premises, our focus is now on our seasonal floral wraps, floral subscriptions, workshops and weddings. We no longer operate daily flower deliveries.
A little bit about us
At this Oxford florist we’re influenced by nature, and we like to use flowers, seed heads, berries and leaves that capture the changing seasons, with an emphasis on letting the flowers and foliage speak for themselves. It’s important to us that your bouquet and flowers should evoke the senses. Memories of walking through the garden and brushing past mint, lavender or rosemary, the scent of roses from your grandmother’s garden or handfuls of chocolate scented Cosmos. Scent, touch and colour are all important to us here at Bicycle Blooms, east Oxford.

#lesfleurs24 - part 1 🙂 A little snippet from the morning of day 1 of the floral retreat organised by Liz @blueskyflowers and Charlie @theflowerfairies two weeks ago today at @chateaudelaruche - more to come 😉 It’s always special and a treat to take yourself away purely to flower for you, meet fellow florists and learn whether its techniques, styles, colour combinations, there is always something to learn. For me too, I really enjoy meeting people who in this case have come from as far as Jersey and Glasgow and nearer to home, Wantage and Marlow. We all have different experiences and time in the industry so to share, listen and laugh is as important to me as the flowers and I have come away having made new floral friends - thank you guys - and inspired for a little more flowering 🌸🙂💕

One week married 🙂 Congratulations to @katherine.j.mackay and Freddie for last Saturday 🥂 Spring whites and greens with the littlest touch of apricot/salmon from the statice and that lovely ranunculus in Katherine’s bouquet - a rogue ranunculus amongst the white wrap of stems I bought - hence only the one - so beautiful. Ranunculus, tulips, anemones, alliums and hellebores, with white thistle (eryngium) taken across in to the grooms party’s buttonholes with bunny grasses for a little soft texture and for the flower girls, little posies of waxflower with white narcissi - a joy to create, and the last of our Spring weddings 💚🙂🤍
