We are a floral studio based in vibrant East Oxford. Our style is natural, focussing on flowers that embrace the changing seasons and we love to let the flowers and foliage speak for themselves.
Having moved out of the physical shop premises, our focus is now on our seasonal floral wraps, floral subscriptions, workshops and weddings. We no longer operate daily flower deliveries.
A little bit about us
At this Oxford florist we’re influenced by nature, and we like to use flowers, seed heads, berries and leaves that capture the changing seasons, with an emphasis on letting the flowers and foliage speak for themselves. It’s important to us that your bouquet and flowers should evoke the senses. Memories of walking through the garden and brushing past mint, lavender or rosemary, the scent of roses from your grandmother’s garden or handfuls of chocolate scented Cosmos. Scent, touch and colour are all important to us here at Bicycle Blooms, east Oxford.

And that’s a wrap… Yesterday afternoon was spent with this lovely group creating their fabulous wreaths @theupinarms 🎄 The perfect antidote to a wet windy Sunday afternoon, with mulled wine, mince pies and a Christmas tree chocolate to hand. Love seeing how they all turn out, everyone has their own style and 8 different wreaths left the building 🙂

Assistant florists for a day @ellielovej0y and @oscarwt_ 😉 Van packed, ready to go last Saturday to the @theupinarms for our third wreath workshop. All set up, mince pies at the ready, and it’s a go, and two hours later 8 fabulous wreaths left the building 🎄💚🎄

14 fabulous wreaths headed out yesterday after our @jstoxford workshop. Lots of chatter and laughter, with a lovely mix of familiar faces and several first time wreath makers. Everyone did a fabulous job at mastering the wreathing technique and creating their own wreath in their own style. Thank you to everyone who came along last night and @jstoxford for the great venue space and staff.

From this array of ingredients 14 fabulous wreaths were created at our first workshop @jstoxford last week. All different, all created in their own style I always love how everyone’s wreaths end up different 🙂 It was lovely to see familiar faces and new ones too. Christmas begins… Last week was the start of our wreath workshops and Christmas deliveries, with vans loaded, fir and pine bundles aplenty, several runs down to @flowervisionlondon to stock up, festive treats from mince pies to mini cupcakes from @happycakesuk and over 50 fabulous wreaths made by our workshop attendees - more to follow 🙂🎄🙂
